This 1947 MG TC has been with the current owner since 2005. It was restored between 1998 and 2000 and is still holding up well. There is some bubbling of the paint on the leading and trailing edges of the wings and the running boards but this does not detract from the overall appearance. The engine starts readily and runs smooth, clutch and gearshift action are good and the brakes work well. The tyres were replaced in 2014 and the chrome wire wheels are in excellent condition. It has been regularly serviced and used for some long distance rallies including the Classic Malts reliability Trial in 2008 and the Old Speckled Hen Run in 2018. The history file is filled with receipts from the restoration, a buff logbook and lots of previous MoTs. The car is located in my workshop.
