This 1967 Ford Mustang has been in the current owner's hands for 5 years and he is now ready to let it go as he wants to move onto a new project.
The exterior is truly excellent, it was restored and repainted primose yellow 3-4 years ago and it really is the best paintwork I have seen on any car. Panel fit is very good and there is no rust in the shell. The work was carried out by APR Bodyworks (www.aprbodyworks.com) and there are photos of the work on their website. Non standard wheels have been fitted but it does also have the original Ford stamped steels, these will be sand-blasted and repainited gloss black, as well as a set of original usable/improvable hubcaps. The glass and brightwork are in very good condition.
The engine was replaced with a 351 Cleveland V8 when it was in the US, it has had a new Edelbrock carburettor and electronic ignition fitted under the cap more recently. The automatic transmission was rebuilt in 2016.
The interior is very tidy, carpets look like they have replaced at some time but the seats look original. There is no headlining fitted at the moment but a new one is on order and will be installed prior to sale.
Now running great and ready to be taken to the next level. This car won Best Mustang at the 2019 American Car show at Tatton Park.
I have been carrying out various jobs on this car over the last couple of years and have got to know it quite well.
