Lancia Fulvia teardown

By Chris McPheat, Aug 22 2019 06:37PM

The Lancia Fulvia is starting to come apart. The photo shows the front subframe and drivetrain, there was just enough steel left in the shell to allow this to be removed without distortion. This assembly is now torn down to component parts and, apart from the cracked cylinder block, is fit for for repair. The rear suspension and axle have also been removed and I've started on stripping out the shell. I see signs that someone has given up tearing this down at some point, in that seized machine screws have been partly drilled and, therefore, somewhat tricky to remove. The engine bay has been cleared, brake lines, wiring loom, bowden cables and the pedal box have been removed or pulled back into the interior. Still some work to do.
